Exciting tour in Skopje mountains

The route of the tour: Skopje – Vodno with the peak Krstovar – Canyon Matka (VODNO-MATKA TRAIL)
The highest point of the mountain Vodno is at Krstovar peak, on 1066 meters and the sub montane is on 337 meters (Middle Vodno is on 557 m). In 2002, on Krstovar peak the Millennium Cross was built, one of the biggest Christian Crosses in the world. You also have an available Vodno Cable car, you can take the ride and enjoy the view.

Trekking around Mavrovo lake

Day in Mavrovo National Park. The Mavrovo National Park is the largest of the three national parks of North Macedonia. The Mavrovo lake lies at an altitude of 1220 m. It is 12 km long, 3 km wide and covers an area of 13.3 square kilometers.

The route of the tour: Nikiforovo - Sandaktas peak.
Duration: 2 - 2,5 hours hike to the peak.

Visit of Bigorski Monastery St John the Baptist and Lazaropole

The first part of this tour is the visit of the Bigorski Monastery. The Monastery of Saint Jovan Bigorski is a Macedonian Orthodox monastery located in the western part of North Macedonia, near the road connecting the towns of Debar and Gostivar. The monastery church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
The second part of the tour is the famous village Lazaropole. The tour includes sheepfolds and trekking to Sokolica peak. The nature is breathtaking, also Lazoropole is known as the place with the cleanest air on the Balkan Peninsula, once you visit, you will want to come back.
Fun fact: The traditional Macedonian folk dance Teškoto is from the area of Lazaropole.

Visit the city of Ohrid

Day spent at Macedonian Jerusalem with visit to the Samuel's Fortress, archeological site Plaoshnik, church St. Jovan Kaneo, boat trip to the famous St. Naum Monastery.
Ohrid once had 365 churches, one for each day of the year, and has been referred to as a "Jerusalem of the Balkans".
Lake Ohrid is a lake which straddles the mountainous border between the southwestern part of North Macedonia and eastern Albania. It is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes, with a unique aquatic ecosystem of worldwide importance, with more than 200 endemic species.

Visit Struga, village Kalista, Radozda and Vevcani

Visit villages Kalista, Radozda and the Church cave, trekking on the mountain Jablanica starting from the village Vevcani.
You can also have a relaxing day at one of the 10 best beaches in Struga, or at the Small Public Beach in Radozhda.
